PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Convergent Technology Partners
Ms. Zuk’s position as a technology consultant is to help educational institutions integrate technology into the educational process.  She brings twenty-five years of experience in education to the position and is able to provide practical guidance as school districts develop and implement technology plans.  Her varied background in the classroom, the media center, curriculum and administration, including grant writing, has helped her develop a global perspective, which she shares with technology committees, instructors and administrative staff.  Her grant writing activities have helped districts across the State to receive Universal Service Funds, Technology Literacy grants, Freedom to Learn grants, foundation grants, and various government grants.

Michigan Association for Computer Users in Learning
As the coordinator of the ATA Technology Academy, Ms. Zuk organizes and leads the development of the professional development workshops as well providing training to teachers and administrators across the State of Michigan.  She has successfully gained foundation grants for the ATA Academy.  She also represents ATA on various State educational committees including the State Educational Technology Plan development committee.

Ms. Zuk has been a sales executive, working primarily with schools.  The company specializes in all forms of audio-visual equipment, presentation equipment, sound and video systems.

Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools
1986-1994       Junior High Assistant Principal: Duties included supervising computerized office management for scheduling, student and staff accounting, grade reporting, discipline record-keeping, budget management.
1982-1986       District K-12 Language Arts Coordinator: Duties included curriculum development, staff development and development of the district writing assessment.
1969-1970 and 1971-1982 Building level media specialist.
1977-1980       Coordinator of Title I program in three middle schools.
1970-1971       Seventh grade English teacher.
